Initial Examination
Your dentist will begin by reviewing your medical and dental history and performing a comprehensive dental exam. This exam will include a thorough examination of your gums, teeth, bite and jaw, an oral cancer screening and any x-rays that may be needed.
Treatment Plan
Based on your history and examination, your dentist will create a long-term dental treatment plan for you. There will also be time to ask any questions you may have about your oral health and treatment options.

- How do I cancel or reschedule an appointment?
Please call us to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Please let us know about any change of plans as soon as you can, so the space can be offered to another patient.
- Do you offer appointment reminders?
You will receive automated phone call appointment reminders from us in the days before your appointment. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please call us as soon as possible to notify us.
- Does your clinic have on-site parking?
Yes, free on-site parking is available for all our patients. We are also easily accessible by public transit.

At Dr. Rachel Navaneelan & Associates, we'll help you navigate our options for payment, direct billing to insurance companies and financing so you can focus on getting the dental care you need.
- Direct Billing to Insurance
For your convenience, we offer direct billing for most insurance plans. We're able to submit your insurance claim electronically, leading to faster reimbursement, without the requirement for signatures or paper forms.
Our administrative team can help you to understand your insurance plan better and is also able to send your insurance company estimates before starting any major treatments.
Please bring your insurance plan information to your appointment.
- Payment Methods
Any co-pays or amounts not covered by insurance are your responsibility, and must be paid at the time of your appointment.
We accept payment by cash, debit or most major credit cards.
